Phew! Thank goodness the hot stretch has ended. We’re moving to Warrnambool next week and it hasn’t been ideal weather for packing and lugging cartons and furniture. We’re renting out our Geelong West place while leasing a house overlooking the Hopkins bridge and mouth.
This is part of the scenery we get to appreciate:
Melbourne just had its longest hot spell since records begun along with its hottest night recorded as well, Sydney had its hottest day since records began in January this year & this is going to be a regular occurrence for summers to come yet morons like yourself Bernie could not give a rats fat backside what world you leave your grandchildren solely because you a too selfish to care about their future or what climate they will endure in years to come.

Bernie knows the area, but for the other dear readers, it has cheeseries, wineries, fisheries, bakeries, and history(s); a bookshop and a good cellar; not too far from anywhere else, and a train line to Melbourne. Nice place.

It’s OK, I know what it’s like when the aircon fails in a stinker as they always do (not exactly Murphy’s Law) and the HVAC guy is up to his tits in phone calls and can’t possibly make it for a week. Either that or he was on a 457 visa and you know how it is nowadays?

There is no point trying to explain to morons like Bernie or Observa about the heat records that are currently being broken or the ones that will frequently occur in summers to come are a result of our heating of this planet. It is has nothing to do with the previous records of the last 40,000 years. These heatwaves are going to get more severe, bushfires will be more frequent & severe due to the obvious warming of our planet. These idiots fail to see this nor do they care for the future of the children that will inherit a climate under sever conditions. They choose ignorance and stupidity.
