Ted too red to bear   8/3/2013

Sinclair Davidson is right on the money:

AUSTRALIANS awoke yesterday to news of another political leader getting knifed by his colleagues during the night. This time it was Victorian premier Ted Baillieu. But that is where the similarity with Kevin Rudd ends. Nobody will miss Ted.

Now it is time for the Coalition to replicate their actions with Vic Police and purge all vestiges of the long Marxist march through our institutions. They include academia, schools, the courts, the public service and other state-funded advocates of mediocrity. Stand back government and let the pursuers of excellence and the aspirational take charge. After all, the ham-stringers and self-servers haven’t got much to show from decades of control.
We’ll know the Libs did the right thing in a few months when Labor sympathisers who tout for Turnbull to lead the federal opposition call for Ted’s reappointment to the premiership.
