Contradictory   20/12/2012

Don’t you just love it when censorious bullies contradict each other?

DRAWING comparisons to pedophiles to attack your opponents is acceptable under the ABC complaints process – held up as the ideal model by media inquiry head Ray Finkelstein – but has been ruled out of order by the newspapers’ existing regulatory body.

It is Grumpy Old Man time.
I tuned away from commercial TV this morning and went to the ABC News program. A guest on the show, “MediaDoc”, then belittled the Australian’s article; followed by that smug supercillious self-opinionated person, who said he is finding the campaign by the Australian to be tiresome. I then helped to save the planet by turning off the TV.

Thomas, the Oz’s Cut and Paste column has today published that piece of tripe in full. Hung from their own petard.

Thanks Bernie – I will buy the Oz today.
Did I see that Cut and Paste refers to the duo as “the ABC Muppets”? Very apt description.
