Abusing language   21/10/2012

Looks like The Australian is leaving itself open to charges – according to a new definition – of misogyny:

Nicola Roxon faces Peter Slipper revolt
Milanda Rout

Nicola Roxon crosses the line
Dennis Shanahan

Roxon amongst poorest performers
Peter Van Onselen

It’s not the true definition which describes a misogynist as a woman hater; and it’s not the politicised Macquarie definition of ”sexist”. No, it’s the version employed when a Labor woman emulates her male colleagues and displays astonishing incompetence and blatant politicisation of judicial processes and gets called on it.
Talk about cheapening the language.
