Not much original here.
But it looks as if Garrett will get his right royalty cut from the latest alarmist ploy.
All that latter-day hippy whining tends to cheapen the original sentiment, though.

Dinosaurs like you Bernie will soon be put in your place. You can show your dodgy charts as much as you want but we had seen the hottest day on record last year on February 7th 2009, Black Saturday in Victoria. We are expecting the same this summer and in future summers.
You would have people think that there is nothing wrong and we go on about our polluting ways and everything is alright. We have seen record highs during the last few winters but off course you’ll say we got rain in september but this overall drought we are in shows no real sign of ending soon.Clowns like you will say what you want but in time you’ll be proven wrong.
As for Peter Garrett who knows if he will collect royalties from his own song .These are your words and you can prove nothing otherwise.
Typical.
Wendy, one hot day in Melbourne is not global warming. A few years ago we had a very hot New Year’s Eve and the next day ABC Radio news led with “Global Warming Hits Melbourne.” Something about swallows and summer comes to mind.
