Victorian Government advocates apartheid   21/8/2008

Leftwing moonbats fling the word “racist” around so readily it has become devalued. Query the desirability of fundamental islamism in modern society and you’ll be — illogically — branded a racist. Try to discuss something as interesting as why Africans are faster and stronger athletes than their European and Asian cousins, and the subject will be changed for fear of appearing racist. Declare that welfare has been poisoned flour for modern Australian aborigines and the subject will be ignored while co-discussers irrelevantly prattle on about the racism of settlers 150 years ago who allegedly poisoned food given to natives.
Thus, I am reluctant to bandy about the “R” word.
But how else can you describe the proposal by socialist Victorian Attorney-General Rob Hulls to establish a County Court to deal solely with Aboriginal offenders?
That is correct, a trial court that deals with offenders only of a certain race.
Perhaps the “R” word is accurate . . . but inflammatory. So we’ll call it for what it is . . . the “A” word: Apartheid.
Is there no one on the left who thinks rationally? Or who recognises gross hypocrisy?

    Oops this comment:

I am sick of these accusations that legal recognition of cultural difference is a form of segregation. Think about this for one second, the justice system and other institutions were created by white people to suit white society. If the same applies to everybody then of course the people who different are going to remain disadvantaged by the very system they are subject to.

So you see, racism is fine. As long as it’s not happening to minorities who aren’t ‘white’.

What about some Sharia Law courts Rob?

‘AN Islamic organisation in Nigeria has issued a death sentence on a man who married 80 women – many more than the maximum of four allowed by Islam.

The Jamatu Nasril Islam (JNI), one of Nigeria’s top Islamic bodies, said in a statement that Mohammadu Bello Masaba stood condemned to death unless he divorced 76 of the women in four days, The Guardian newspaper reported.

“Unless Masaba repents within four days and take only four wives from the herd he remains condemned to death, according to Sharia law,” the statement said.

“Any Muslim who married more than the approved number of wives at a time either by mistake or out of ignorance is instructed to choose but only four and ask for Allah’s forgiveness.”

Since the return of Nigeria to civil rule in 1999 a dozen predominantly Muslim states in the north have re-introduced a strict version of the Islamic Sharia legal system.

Sharia law is often seen as more efficient and less bureaucratic and corrupt than Nigeria’s secular courts.

The northern states pride themselves on applying a mild form of Sharia, with no deaths by stoning carried out and few amputations.’

You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried. The moonbat’s would be beside themselves if their new inclusive Sharia courts wanted to put a sensitive bloke to death for having 80 husbands, that got around that particular Sharia objection here. You don’t really think they’d compromise their values and fall for only 4 spouses and nothing under 9 do you?
