Holy Moley! Remember when a Queensland Nationals preselection candidate had to be an ancient, sun-spotted geezer who shampooed with Solvol and knew the price of cane and cattle and not much else.
How times change. Meet Miss Hajnal Ban, a 28 year old barrister and a Beaudesert Shire Councilor, who will contest the National’s preselection for the seat of Forde in December. The seat of Forde is presently held by the Liberal’s Kay Elson who will be retiring next year.
