Rotten little spiv   9/5/2005

It’s a pity that defamation laws mean we have to wait until some swine are rotting in their graves before the truth can be told:

THE detective who arrested controversial federal MP Al Grassby 18 years ago claims the National Crime Authority bowed to political pressure not to fully investigate his mafia links.
Retired NCA senior investigator Bruce Provost said he had no doubt the Whitlam Labor government minister was paid to commit crimes and do favours for the Calabrian mafia.
Speaking publicly for the first time about the NCA’s inquiry, Mr Provost said Mr Grassby was firmly in the mafia’s pocket.

Let’s hope the Herald Sun keeps belting this rug to force responses from NCA and government figures of the day.

I guess we’re going to hear so much from the Labor Party about this. Or not.

Love to know just how much money has been thrown at multi-culties by the Labor Party in the past 30 odd years. Not their money of course.

Homer, I was aware of the criminal defamation conviction (see earlier post). Everyone suspected what Provost has now declared, but no one has claimed it publicly in the past. No doubt due to fear of libel action by Grassby et al. Pressure must be applied now to Labor stooges of the 70s on why they covered up for Grassby.

I hate to bring this news to you but it was Malcolm Fraser who championed multi-culturism.

Homer, no one has said anything about who championed multi-culti. But for your information Grassby was Minister for Immigration and Commissioner for Community Relations before Fraser was PM and the former, if nothing else, certainly championed multi-culti.
Oh, and Grassby was convicted of criminal defamation. Then his appeal was upheld. At a time when it has now been revealed he was getting high-level protection.
Surely you’re not going into bat for the slimebag.

    You are correct!
